Anne Marie Bösch was born in Vorarlberg. She studied at the Conservatory in Feldkirch with Sabine Gstach, at the University of Music Vienna with Helge Stiegler and Hans Maria Kneihs and furthermore at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Amsterdam/ Netherlands with Walter van Hauwe.

She performed old music and produced several recordings with numerous ensembles like La Gioia Wien, Flauto Voce Wien, Wiener Akademie, Gradus ad Parnassum, Capella Nova Graz and Wiener Motettenchor. She played at the Wiener Festwochen, the Barocktage at Stift Melk, Allegro Vivo, the Orgelfest at Stift Zwettl, the Festival in St. Gallen, the Concerts in the Palais Feldkirch, the Festival Musica Sacra, the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Serenaden Linz, Schloss Grafenegg, Palais Liechtenstein Wien and had a solo performance in Hongkong. In contemporary music, she came up with the première of a solo piece dedicated to her by Elfi Aichinger in Melk. She took part in the project „Klangnetze“.

In 2010 she founded the ensemble Phoenix Baroque Austria.

She has already worked in several music schools and gave lessons at the Conservatory in Vienna. At the moment she teaches the recorder at the Burgenländisches Musikschulwerk (Association of Music Schools Burgenland).
